Tipperary Crystal is sponsoring the Louise Kennedy 18-inch Aurora Trophy which will go to the Best Dressed Lady at the Galway Races on 30 July.
There is no formal entry procedure to the Best Dressed Lady Competition. Judges simply wander through the crowds and invite possible contenders to the marquee for the final.
The week-long festival is world renowned, with its unique mixture of heart-stopping finishes and breathtaking fashion.
Veteran race goers, and those who simply love the atmosphere, travel from around the world for the unique experience that is the Galway Races.
The summer meeting takes place each July on the outskirts of Galway city in the West of Ireland.
Over 200,000 people attended the 2008 Summer Festival Meeting, and this year the festival runs from 27 July to 2 August.
