Graham Knuttel has collaborated with Tipperary Crystal to create a new and exciting fine porcelain range which includes espresso cups, cappuccino cups, serving plates, and limited edition plates that come with their own certificate of authenticity, personally numbered and signed by Graham.
Initially renowned for his large wooden mechanical animated sculptures, Knuttel has more recently emerged as a painter with a rapidly growing international reputation represented in many important collections in Europe and the USA as well as many public collections worldwide. Some of his collectors include Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Jordan, Christy Moore, Colin Farrell, Michael Stipe, Bill Gates, Joanna Lumley, to name but a few.
He is a prolific worker spending up to 15 hours in his studio every day. He works from first light until darkness and beyond. His paintings represent the human predicament as he has seen it: his figures appear in an urban landscape and he tries to use colour and form to express the emotion of his figures.
The Knuttel Cafe Collection will be launched on Thursday 17th September and will be available in Brown Thomas.
