Graham Knuttel will be launching his two new collections ‘Shady Lunch’  and ‘Hells Kitchen’ in Brown Thomas Dublin on Saturday 3rd July from 2-4pm and then in Brown Thomas Cork on Saturday 10th July from 2-4pm.

Each range consists of Cappuccino Cups, Espresso Cups, three different sized serving plates and a 35cm limited edition signing plate.

Graham describes each artwork as follows -

Hells Kitchen (pictured on the right) – It is mackerel season in Hell’s Kitchen. Tensions run high as the fish are prepared, and the customers wait in anticipation for the splendid feast.

Shady Lunch (pictured on the left) – The cafe is in Cadiz in Southern Spain. It is a hot afternoon but the shaded cafe front gives this couple a chance to resolve their differences.

We are delighted to be associated with Peter O’Brien as he is recognised as Ireland’s foremost couturier, with a global reputation. Peter has worked as a designer with Christian Dior and Givenchy and as head of design with legendary Paris fashion house Rochas. He brings a further dimension to Tipperary Crystal’s highly successful strategy of ‘innovation through design

There are four collections in the Peter O’Brien glassware range, each named by Peter from his experience in haute couture – Plisse (pleated), Garreaux (check), Rayure (stripe) and Fil (thread). Each has a set of six wine glasses and a combination of vases, bowls and votives.

According to Peter O’Brien: “I wanted what I did for Tipperary Crystal to reflect or echo my design history, without being too literal. So, rather than thinking of frocks as a starting point, I was more inspired by techniques employed in The Couture. So what was functional has become decorative. I like that idea.”

This collection is now available throughout Ireland in many leading retailers.

Tipperary Crystal is delighted to announce we has been appointed official crystal, glass and ceramics supplier of the 2011 Solheim Cup.

This premier match play competition in women’s professional golf will be played at Killeen Castle in County Meath, Ireland from Sept. 23-25.

The contract signing took place in Tipperary Crystal’s showrooms in Dublin on Thursday, 29th April. Attending the signing was one of the world’s leading women golfers, Alison Nicholas MBE, former US Open Champion and Solheim Cup European Team Captain for 2009 and 2011.
