Throughout her successful career as a chef, broadcaster and author of four best selling cookery books, Rachel Allen has strived to create good, everyday food for real people - from accessible recipes to simple suppers and divine puddings. 

Rachel has used that very same approach in creating her home and kitchenware collection for Tipperary Crystal.

From salad bowls to serving dishes, Rachel says her aim has been to create stylish yet practical items for all households. The collection is both functional and fun, reflecting Rachel’s own love of everyday living.

“The concepts emanate firstly from practicalities that I look for in the kitchen,” she explains. “Only then do you begin to perfect the design and look of the product.”

From Ballymaloe to the BBC

Rachel teaches at the world-renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School in County Cork, Ireland. She lives in her seaside home with husband Isaac and family.

Rachel is a highly popular and very successful TV chef, and her extremely popular television series for RTE and the BBC have been broadcast internationally.

She frequently appears on BBC’s “Saturday Kitchen”, and her charming manner and effortless style make her a delight to watch. She is a best selling cookery writer, and her books include “Rachel’s Favourite Food at Home”, “Rachel’s Food for Living”, “Bake” and “Rachel’s Diary”.
